just got a dc50.....how do you transfer files?

yes its a s hitty camera

well i jnever had a expeirnece with a dvd camcorder, so i recorded some vids connected the usb and i try to gain access to the files but it says it can't be read?? so i got the mini dvd put it on my cd/dvd drive and it comes up empty.

frustrating what am i doing wrong? this dvd crap is not good

i have 0 experience with Digital cams but one thing is for sure, it's probably sh*tty as you said, cos my bro has his and he connected it to my pc's usb and transfered his pics no need for drivers and all.

When you connect it, does it view it as an external drive... i.e. it shows up under my computer, but I'm guessing that when you select it it says something to the tone of that this drive cannot be accessed?

Possibly look online and see if there are any up to date drivers?
