Default Wireless strength

Hi, I have a pc in my house that is located on the very top floor. I set up a wireless router in my basement, where my modem is located (instead of running around 100 to 200 ft of ethernet cable from my basement to my upstairs pc) I was wondering if there is anyway I can up the signal strength. I took a screen shot of my current D Link configuration and was wonder if I can gain any more performance out of it by changing certain values. Thx for your help

There are ethernet adapters that run through your home wiring, as well as signal boosting antennas
