Hi, I'm currently taking up my master's degree in Information Technology and one of my subjects is Technical Research. In class, we were required to make a research paper or thesis on a particular topic with a particular problem. Since I am a graduate of Information Technology, I was looking into a topic in relation to my course and I am having trouble of finding a particular topic and problem. I am in need of help and am hoping that any of you guys can help and suggest some topics that I can use. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I always wondered what telecoms will do when people start using IPTV and stuff like that. Really the burden on telecoms is getting more and more massive as the days go one because content is getting so much larger. Those people who still have dial up have been left in the dust. I even heard something at one point about a tiered internet where people would have to pay to guarantee speedy delivery of their content. Plus then you have the mobile internet market, which google is trying to get a more fair set of rules put into place when the government auctions off the 700mhz frequency band google said they will bid upwards of 4.6 billion for that space in order to apply certain fairness controls to allow better compition not to mention easier placement of their ads. Hopefully that might help give you some ideas.
