Hello,
I'm looking for a microphone to record my voice with sometimes on my computer, and found this cool metal one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330149487080 but my question is, will just 'any' microphone work in the normal pink-colored microphone jack/hole of a PC? Is that microphone instead meant for plugging into something else, not a PC? Does the connector always have to look like this one to work with a PC?: http://cgi.ebay.com/Labtec-Verse-524...QQcmdZViewItem I'd rather get the first, so please let me know. Thanks. |

Yeah it won't work without an adapter... it won't fit. It needs to have the plug as seen in the 2nd microphone. I don't see why you'd want a microphone without a stand though, you'll have to hold the microphone for a good quality sound.
