From what i understand, fourtyways or someone smart correct me, the quality difference would be negligible. The 24 inch is physically larger than the 22", so you're not exclusively getting a better resolution image, more a larger one. And seeing that you are supposed to run games on the native res, for best image quality, the higher native res of the 24inch would negatively impact GPU performance.

So sans image quality, you're looking at a choice between smaller, better performance; bigger, marginally worse performance. The end result of this choice will become better apparent towards the end life of the card, when a higher resolution forces game settings to be lowered. Pure opinion here. with regards to selection.

Samsumg can make some really great monitors, but they can also hit you with a subpar panel, resulting in a subpar monitor. You can't always tell which you're getting, especially online, but I hear you can tell by looking at the box in store, according to the product number or something. Someone else might be able to elaborate on this..
