Default Interface PC with Home TV

Hi,

I have some video clips in my PC and I wish to view it on my home TV.. May I know is there any equipment, software or interface wires that I can use to connect my PC to my home TV to execute the above functions? Thanks.

if you have a newer computer and a newer HDTV with a dvi port you could connect your computer via a dvi port (provided your video card has one, if you have a video card) If you're using an older tv you may have to try S-Video (looks kind of like a ps2 port) which your video card might also have. If you're using onboard video you're probably out of luck because those usually only have VGA port, but i guess you could also get a vga to dvi adapter allowing you to connect it to a HDTV. Basically it's going to be pretty difficult if you don't have an HDTV with the correct ports. But it is overall possible.

well it depends what kind of port you have on your computer and on your tv. Tell me what ports you have on the back of your computer and what you have on your tv and i'll tell you what kind of cable to use.

most of the TVs have the Scart contact. Do you have this port on the backside of your tv?

write your computer spec please (graphic card). Is it a notebook or a desktop computer?
On the back of your computer case, do you have this port?
