Change start bar color

does anyone know how to change the start bar color? i know to go to appearence and change the color scheme but where can i download more of thease color schemes. currntly i have the default silver, blue and green. my friend once had orange and black which looked really sick. anyone knwo how to pull this off?

For the orange and black theme. microsoft supports it, its called zune theme. As for other colors, they are not supported by microsoft and are usually third party programs. I dont use them so perhaps you can ask someone else for help with them.

You need a program like 'window blinds' if you want to apply any more themes to windows. The zune theme that kobaj mentioned is probably what you are talking about, but for other themes (In XP at least) you need this extra software to use it. You can also change icons and other visual aspects of windows with other stardock packages like 'iconpackager'.

no, vista msstyle and xp msstyle are totally different, so it wont work.
