need help

hi,
i am trying to reboot my old pc,but dint reboot it makes kind of muzik sound and 2 beeps.
what is the problem should be?

I think its the buzzer on your motherboard gives you a certain number of beeps for certain errors. find the model of your motherboard and it should be in the manual, what the error is for different beep sequences. so look under 2 beeps, to see the error.

first, check ur memory, which is ur RAM, then check ur processor, thats if u dont use a gigapro which carries an embedded processor on the motherboard, then take a peek at ur VGA card, probably gone bad, u culd do a swap of any of these with compatible spares if u have, but basically check ur manual ;for the specific bios beep( which is the music sound u heard) for specific hardware probs, u culd also do a search on the internet for bios beeps for different motherboards...lotsa luck.
