K quick run down on the specs of everything
running XP home Belkin 54mbps wireless router (connected to my computer) Belkin 54mbps wireless card Linksys 54mbps wireless router (want to use this as an access point) Ok, well I have a problem, the signal in my room is horrible from my belkin router. I was talking with a friend and he told me I could use another router as an access point of range expander. So I picked up the Linksys router for a real good deal and can't figure out how to get them to work together. I would like to keep my Belkin router attached to my PC downstairs while I want the Linksys to be simply used as an access point in my bedroom. Can I do this? And if so how? This has caused me so much trouble today trying to figure all this out! |
