Cool Pimp my Gateway pc.

The title says it. I can't take pictures at the moment but I drew out what we are starting from.

We found 2 of these. They have the old:

Pentium 2.
32mb Ram
3.3GB HDD
Dg Vodoo
Windows NT. Now we are turning our first test one into...............................

Intel core 2 Duo E6500.
2048mb DDR2 800MHz 6400 CL5
250GB HDD
Nvidia 7950GT 512mb X2 in SLI.
We wont be selling it as it's going to our mummys friends who has children. So we be painting it blue and pink. Half blue half pink!

P.S I'm a child too.....

So you're pretty much just turning it into a new machine.

Are you going to use the old mobo? I don't think it'll work...(also, are you buying a new OS?)

I'm confused... seems like youre just building a PC from scratch but just keeping the same case. That seems pointless....

Yeah, if you're buying all that other stuff, 2gb of mem, 250gb hdd, 2x512mb 7950GT's - why not just buy a new case for $40 bucks? With all that stuff youre going to want to have nice air flow and with a small gateway case..... it doesn't do your system any justice... Let me guess... youre going to have a 15" CRT monitor to go with those video cards too right? (sorry... that sounded kinda rude. not my intentions)
