Mine overclocked, i idle at around 25-28*c and a average load temps is about 40*C unless its like for 5 mins then it will touch 44-45*c then go back cooler. The core 2 duo's that are faster are also more expensive...(ie: 6600-6850) just my opinion

Well i got a aftermarket cooler so, i guess that done count

Should be fine for anything but gaming.

I'd get the HP A6152N. It's a little more than the 8100, but its Quad core . Here's a link to the one at circuit city and it goes on sale tomorrow, I believe it will be less than $800 starting tomorrow. Just something to think about. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/HP-Pa...oductDetail.do
