Hi all,

I apologize for inundating you with these builds, but I think this is my last one. Will this be

1) Fast (as possible for the money, WITHOUT BUILDING IT MYSELF etc.)
2) Quiet (am I doing the right stuff with PSU and cooling?)
3) Compatible (i.e. will it WORK?)

i could build somting better for $913 and , i built the comp on my sig for 530 i could of done much more with $400. i think u should really build ur PC,

All this stuff as a parts order on Newegg would cost about $860. I'm willing to pay the extra $50 to have someone else do it this time. Please, if possible, just tell me if this build is fast, functional, and relatively quiet? Or tell me any parts suggestions?

Well, yeah, but I want Cyberpowerpc to do it, and to have the warranty, etc. It seems like this whole forum is a big (very polite) gang whose sole purpose is to get people to order computer parts instead of built computers. Can anyone just give an opinion of the above build?

We tend to encourage people to build the computer themselves, but we can also give advice...

Will you be overclocking ? If not, you could get some DDR2-667 RAM instead and wouldn't see any changes in performance.

I'm not so sure you can say the GeForce 7950 is new, but its a good DX9 performer.

For the PSU, NZXT is not a brand I've already heard of. I'd suggest sticking with a reliable brand, not sure if there's such a link on those boards, but I would refer to this list. Try to use the Corsair 520HX, its one of the best PSU at the moment. If there is something you shouldn't go easy on, its the PSU, its a part which you never want to hear of otherwise you might actually ruin your whole computer.

Besides that it seems fine, I don't know the case or how good the cooling is in there, so that will be up to you or others to see. I know the Centurion 5 is often recommended in cheap builds. And no I am not recommending to buy it from Newegg, just making a link so you have an idea of how it is.

Thank you, that was helpful. It's ironic - the Centurion 5 was actually the case I ordered with my recent fiasco with Newegg, and it ended up being defective and damaging other parts (shorting out the mobo). But I'm sure it's normally reliable.
