Default Cannot copy file: Data error (cylcic redundancy check)

I get this error:
Code:
Cannot copy file: Data error (cylcic redundancy check)
When I try to copy .vro movies recorded by my videocamera from the MINI DVD to my computer. I get this error after 35% of the copy process. I googled it and I found that this error is mostly known for floppies. So I came here and ask you guys. any ideas?

No, no driver is installed. I have lost the driver cds and I cant find them on the internet. therefor I have posted this thread, to see if someone else can send me the drivers via msn or rapidshare.

This happened to me on the The Sims 2. Are You using a blank MiniDVD disk in a SONY DVD-ROM drive because my old one tends to have problems with burning DVD's and Reading them. So I got a new LG SATA one and it's great.
