Every now and then, audio won't come out through headphones and will only come out through my laptops enternal speakers. The other day, it worked great, but it's not working again. I know the headphones work good becuase I've tried it with my friends MP3 Player. I've checked Every audio setting and they all say that it's working properly. I'm using Realtek HD Audio and it notices the that I'm using headphones becuse, when I plug my headphones into the audio jack, a message pops up and says "a jack has been plugged in." When I press the audio up and down buttons, I get the yellow bars accross the screen indicating the volumn level. I've tried putting on sume music and putting up the volumn but I get nothing. I found two things that might be the problem or might have something to do with the problem. In the Master Volumn (Volumn Control), The SPDIF is not lit up like the rest. I've checked everything and it says that everything is running properly and I can't find why that the SPDIF is not lit up. Another thing is, in the registry, In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Lake>DolbyHph>Headphon es, there is nothing there. I have included a screen shot. There should probably be some settings in there or something.
