I really apologize if any of this sounds dumb on my part, I am not very handy with computers and am not as techy as I would like to be. I just bought a new lap top with my mother yesterday which I am trying to set up the way I want it for right now.
I know that I want to be able to view characters in: English, Korean, Japanese and Spanish and be able to view them on the computer as well. I use all four of these lanugage very frequently with my friends and with people I work with, since I online tutor with Japanese kids and teenagers. On my last laptop I know had something on there that helped me not only view Japanese and Korean text but to an extent type in it as well. But that was such a long time ago I don't remember where I went to get it from. If anyone can helpe me out I would really apricate it. I also use some minor gaming programs that are Japanese like games off of Yahoo Japan and I would like to maybe be able to see the actual characters when I go though the set up instead of just books or ?'s. If it helps any, the OS that I have on this new lap top is Vista Home Basic, and the computer it self is a Toshiba Satalite. |
