Default Hurcules 3D Prophet II MX 64MB better than currant onboard?

ok i have aquired a Hurcules 3D Prophet II MX 64MB vid card and i was wondering if it is any better than my onboard Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family id like to upgrade it i would put a btter card in but all my money is going to my build

Umm i'm not a big fan of intergrated video cards, but I would say the Intel onboard video is better.

Your onboard is SHARED with your Memory.

Which means, your onboard takes a certain amount of your ram, and uses it for the Onboard video.

For your question.

YES it is better.

If you install it, Your Ram will not be "Stolen" And used for Video.

You will have a Dedicated Video Card.

Doesn't matter. Do you know what a Prophet II is? It's a GeForce 2 Pro. At least the onboard can do pixel shading even if it is offloaded to the CPU.
