Default Installing Vista?

Hey all.

Just a question for a friend.

He wants too install Vista, But does not want too Lose his XP

He has one Hard Drive with One Partition on it.

He has 90 Gig Free on the hard drive.

Is it possible too create a partition using some of the Spare Space he has?

How would he go about doing it?

Thanks,

K3

nothing difficult in that since he has 90GB free he can install vista on that,, vista will take care of the bootloaders.
no need to create partition in the setup vista will see the unformatted space and you can select and use it

He said it was 90 GB free space, not 90 GB unformatted space.

I think you willl probably need something like this: Partition Magic

I also found this one for free. I have not used either one of the apps in this message. CutePartition

Maybe i didnt write it clear enough.

He has a hard drive, COMPLETELY being used by XP.

There is NO Un-Partitioned Space.

Is there any program that can partition a already partitioned hard drive.

The hard drive has 90 Gb FREE. Its not Un-Partitioned space.
