ATX is 2X2
rear screen is showing all as fine, happily displaying the time at the moment! Starting to fox me this one, the DVD drive was giving CRC check errors on Imgburn, checked the settings on the drive and have ensured that its not in PIO mode so just about to recheck that. Stability is my main worry though, not really worth having a powerful machine if its gonna die every ten minutes!

Do you have a 2nd 2x2 you can plug in? Some people had trouble with that board when only using 1. Try to switch out anything you have 2 of on hand but go one at a time so you know what it is if something fixes it.

ok i'm back on this one, i dont think i have another 2X2 plug that i can use? Do you have any links to people experience issues with this board as it might prove helpful..... ITs really getting on my nerves this now. The system has been away with a friend for a bit of testing. Mem has checked out completely fine, so far as he is able to see there is nothing wrong with the system... Yet its crashed about 5 times tonight. No BSOD, simply goes completely non responsive and needs to be reset to get things up and running again.... Starting to wonder if either board or CPU has some minor issue or confliction that causing problems... If anyone has experienced anything similar please give me ideas as i'm exhausting most options here so far.... not much left to test!
