well from what ive seen. you can start out by first buying a tv tuner car (pci) w/ an MCE remote control. i ur computer is bluetooth enabled you can buy bluetooth headset to watch movies. the headset has butons that allow u to play, puase, fastfowrd, etc. my brother uses it with MCE in his dorm. its handy when ur roomates are sleeping or studying. so thats the 1)tv tuner card 2)remote and maybe 3)bluetooth headset.

EDIT: dont forget to already have a good cable tv service aswell for tv show recording

Um I have a TV tuner.
I am not sure if it works...

In device manager, in the game controller section, it shows it.

So I assume it works?

I have the AVerMedia PVR 150 WhiteBox.

I am not sure if the driver is correctly installed.
Cause it only works with MCE, and the box didn't come with a driver, but it told me where to get it, and I tried installing it, but I am not sure if it worked or not.
Thanks.
