Check both Connections
I know when my Sata ports come loose, it causes all kind of hell. Remove the Sata Cables, Follow the one that goes back too your motherboard, not your Power supply one. Remove the one off the Motherboard, Blow it off, And Replace pretty firmly (never force it) And plug it back into the hard drive and try again.
