external HDD
just wondering how i would attatch an external drive to my netowkr so it would become a NAS (network attatched storage device)storage device as my parents work from home and share alot of files for work and they have to do this using email, so i would like to set up this solution to help them out. i have a wireless network so any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I would just set up a share on the external drive's root then map it on the other PCs.

you can either share a drive that is attatched to one of the computers, or get a network hard drive so you just plug it in to a switch.
