I used this wireless card from Edimax in my latest build.
It is the cheapest PCI Wireless G card at Newegg. The external antenna allows you to get the antenna about 3 feet away from the PC. This gives me a MUCH better signal, since I'm not getting so much interference from the computer itself. This card works fine in Vista Home Premium 64 bit version, using the XP drivers on the included disk. It is also compatible with most versions of Linux. Hope this helps someone.
