Default Good free partition software?

Does anyone know any good and FREE partition program?

I have 200 gb of unallocated space on my HD. When installing XP, it could only detect the first hundred'ish of GB space.
Now i got the leftover in another partition.
I want to combine them together without losing any data. The second partition is empty.

Where can I get such free partition program?

If you want to partition unused space, you can do that from Administrative Tools -> Computer Management in the Control Panel of XP. Works well too.

With GParted... Can I partition space that already has stuff on it and just tell it what folders to put on what partition? Or can it only deal with free or unallocated space?

You can manipulate existing partitions easily, even ones with data on them.
