Default Bad HD?

I dropped off my pc to a local shop to have them setup raid 0 with my 2 hd's and to install windows, so I pick it up today and turn it on and i get an error something like "the system could not load missing or corrupted windows32/system/config. I call the shop back the the manager tells me I have a bad HD, im like WTF? He said when he finished it he did everything I asked and when he was done it worked fine and somehow between the shop and my house the HD failed....can this be true?

Should always demand them to turn on your system right at the shop and make sure it boots into Windows just fine before you leave with it. Right now there is nothing you can do to them...

But then, there is also the question of whether they actually set up RAID correctly or not...

Take it back and ask them to fix it, but make sure it wont cost you anything first. If they are going to charge you take it somewhere else. It's very unlikely that it failed while you were taking it home.
