I had 2 512MB sticks of value ram, which I replaced with 3 1GB sticks of GSKILL ram. Before, it said I had 1022MB of ram, now it says I have 2790MB of ram. Is this correct? It's not exactly 3GB. I thought the 3 sticks I bought were identical, 2 were packaged and 1 was separate. They were:
G.SKILL Value 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory - Retail and G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail why am I losing some MB of ram? |
