Definately go Wacom. I'm happy with my Wacom Bamboo and that was only about $60 (US dollars). If you want a really nice one you could get this http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.proc...WAC+CINTIQ12WX (the tablet has a display that you draw on)

If you want one that's a little less expensive you could go with the http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.proc...ed.WAC+PTZ1231

It's got a really big workspace.

There are other wacom intuos tablets with smaller workspaces that are less expensive.

Then of course there is the Wacom Bamboo Fun.

Check out their website here http://wacom.com/index.html
