Default processor benchmarking

what programs do people use to benchmark their CPU?

I've got a feeling that mine isnt quite performing as it should so looking for something to compare its performance against others......

I get 28 seconds for Super PI to 1M, so use an E6300 at 1.86Ghz to compare yours to

What do you have?

not too happy with it at the moment though, the whole system is still unstable. Its crashing randomly and without explanation. So far its happened about 5 times tonight and its really getting on my nerves!

Have you OC'ed it at all? If you haven't, I'd be sending it back, it shouldn't be doing that mate!

no overclocking at all, i'm planning on getting on to Aria monday about it to be fair.

Going to enquire into a possibly exchange or something. Theres definately something amiss with either board or CPU as the memory is tested and fine

oh it will be both going back, i'm gonna inquire into returning the motherboard and CPU and exchanging for a different setup, basically citing lack of faith in the products as an issue.

Will also be pushing for them to be sending the items out before returning the ones i have, should be able to convince them that running a business from this system requires it to have very little downtime.

Upgrades never go to plan though do they
