ok i just recently ran into a problem with my computer and really need help... i just recently restarted my computer and when it was booting up i noticed that it didnt go to my user select screen it went to a very basic login i thought that was a little weird but i just logged in... then i noticed that my wallpaper was a picture i had on my wallpaper a long time ago...
then it is taking an extremely long time to load everything up... my icons then began to flash in and out and the start menu would too... then it would just stick on my old wallpaper and i cant access anything... im really needing help im not sure what to do any help would be greatly appreciated just post back if you need to know anything about my computer... please help if you can thank you |

Once you restarted, Did it do it again?
So you get No Errors? Just Wierd log on screen. What version of Windows are you running?

What do you mean by simple log in? You mean the Windows 2000 log in right? What have you done before this happening? The best thing to do when something unexpected like this happens, is to back track.

have u installed any third party software on your computer? if so, its likely that uve got a malware installed on your pc. hav u made any chngs to the system files or the boot up ?
try restoring your system to an earlier time... |
