The sound there isn't a separate card but an onboard audio chip if you are plugging the speakers into the rear of the board and not a card in a pci slot. So what do you recommend? I want to get away with the cheapest option I can right now. I'm going to have a new comp built for gaming, but in the meantime I just want the sound to work normally on this one. Would a simple $30-40 soundblaster PCI card correct my problem and allow me to run the stupid flight sim normally?
