I have looked through all of the possible audio settings in Windows, Realtek, and in the software of the audio programs I have attempted to use. I have not attempted to use WMP, but will give it a shot, although I have tried various other programs with the same result.
And to the "ps.": I'm definitely not a tech. Building a computer isn't exactly a difficult task if you follow the directions provided. The majority of the parts pretty much only have one connection that fits and one way it will fit in. Just follow the instructions, including any "precautions", make sure you choose compatible parts, and then install your drivers/updates when it's up and running. At least that's how I see it.
