I do have to agree, sometimes searching for information on the microsoft website can b a bit of a pain. However, 2 find the ie is simple, just type in the search box "Internet explorer download".

I trashed my IE and went to firefox, it seems to be the best for blocking adware, plus it has an open source, for easy modification. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
