Default Partition Magic 8.0 and XP Pro x64

I read about this in some other forums because I had this problem. I used Partition Magic 8.0 to partition my 400GB WD drive. It told me it had to restart in order for the change to take place (not that surprising) but after it restarts there are 2 problems:
a) Right after the Windows Screen and before the Log-in Screen it gives the message 'xmnt2002 not found... skipping AUTOCHECK'
b) It doesn't partition the drive
I fixed the first problem by going into the registry and changing the entry in BootExecute. However I can't get it to partition the drive if I try again the entry changes and the error message reoccurs. When I was reading about it it seemed that the only people having problems were using XP Pro x64. Could it be that something in the program doesn't work with the 64 bit OS? What is another good partitioning program that will work with XP Pro? All I want is a partitioned drive!

Thanks
