hey guys, both in internet explorer and firefox, my web pages with any kind of video and other forms of graphics don't fully develope. meaning, i can't see any forms of video specifically (including sites like youtube and myspace). i can't download everything correctly either, it's weird because i can download somethings but things like "wolfenstein" and battlefield :vietnam patches just won't download. pfff.. i can't even upload a screenshot of download.com, which is weird cuz i've uploaded that kinda thing before.
also, my computer wont play dvds either. i have a dvd r/rw and updated graphics drivers so it should be able to play them. i think its a software issue cuz the dvd r/rw drive burns disks and plays games fine. can anyone help please?

Well I can tell you off the top of my head that you need a DVD Decoder thing for your DVD drive. I hate messing with it when I install it myself because its all predone on a new computer. However, your problem with internet probably lies in a unupdated version of Quicktime or ActiveX. Try updating those, or downloading them if you dont have them and check back here.
PS: Update to Vista maybe? People say it has flaws but its a bunch of BS, sure some software doesnt work, but the manufacturers for those sotftwares are getting the job done.
