I just finished building a pc for my brother and it is quite a good pc. However when running Company of Heroes at the same resolution and settings as me his game runs noticeably slower than mine even though we have similar video cards.
His processor is faster than mine, his ram is also faster than mine. (We run at the same resolution and settings.)

However my video card is the 7900 gs XXX @ 600/800

His video card is the 7900 gs KO @ 500/690

I think his video card may be the culprit. I tried running Ntune to boost his speeds up with little success. I thought he would get a decent OC because his heatsink covers the ram modules on the video card as well. Do you have any suggestions on how to OC his card successfully and get the speeds up high because I have heard the 7900 gs OC's well.

Check what background processes are running; it may also be time to do some system maintenance like defraging and checking for spyware.

I spent some time
and got his card up to 580 mhz core and 750 memory and it runs stable. Also his games are alot smoother now even though that was only a modest overclock. Everything else seems to be up to snuff as far as defragmenting and antivirus/antispyware.
