My RAM has these numbers associated with it;
5-4-4-11 (slot 1) 5-4-4-12 (slot 2) 5-4-4-12 (slot 3) 5-4-4-12 (slot 4) What do these numbers mean? All four sticks are identical in brand, model and size.. two (both 5-4-4-12) are older than the others, but the remaining sticks were both purchased from Newegg brand new. ![]() Sorry for the sloppy picture, I accidently saved it as a jpeg.. too lazy to take another :p |

Those numbers are the timings but I don't know what it's trying to show you there. It's an overclocking page so it might be what it thinks the RAM can run at.

I know the cpu runs at 2209-2211Mhz constantly, but I don't understand why the RAM timing is listed as 4-4-4-12 on the top, and 5-4-4-12 and 5-4-4-11 on the bottom.. and why would one stick be different than the other three?
![]() Also, the RAM I have installed is PC2-4200, not PC2-3900 or PC2-4300. |

It's listed as PC2-3900 because you have an odd multiplier CPU. It's a side effect of the onboard memory controller. The stuff at the bottom is listed as being clocked faster too so I'm thinking that's what the program thinks your RAM can be overclocked to.
