Hey, im looking to build a new pc, i only need CPU, Mobo, RAM, and Graphics Card and maybe a new case.
I dont want to spend much money, probly $1500. I'm trying to build an all around computer mainly for multi-tasking, watching videos, and some gaming. Im thinking about getting the q6600, as im not wanting to upgrade for a while. And i also wont be OC'ing. |

Ok sweet, they all look pretty decent.
I like the soprano case alot, and i can buy from a shop here for around the same price, so ill probly pick that up. Would there be much point getting an even beter mobo? Maybe an ASUS P5K3 DELUXE? |

The asus is good but isn't that much of an improvement unless you want the wifi

Also make sure that your existing power supply is up to the task of handling an 8800 series card. Price wise, www.msy.com.au is great, if there's a store near you. You can also take a look at www.staticice.com.au, which will search for the best prices on components within Australia.

itsdirect seems to be a good place to get stuff. I'm buying a number of stuff from there as it also seems among the cheapest. (i go to shopbot.com.au for price compare, dont know how much better it is than staticice though)
I bough my case an psu from pccasegear.com.au as they have a good range and decent prices
