Default At a LAN

Hey.
What programs are by default veiwable at a LAN.
What can others see and access?

Well technically if your connected to a LAN, anyone else on there could find a way to view/erase/copy all of your files on your hard drive. But most likely the only thing that they will have access to (easily), is any folder that is shared. They can't view your programs that you have installed.

I would disable Windows file and print sharing before you connect to the LAN.

A firewall is no good if you dont know how to configure one.

Just disable file and print sharing and you should be fine. Especially if this is just a LAN party with a few friends.
