Default Reasonable new to photography

As the title states, I am reasonable new to photography, as far as DSLR's go anyway. Had my SLR for about 5 days now..

When taking photos, I always try to ask myself, "How can I show this to the world in a way they've never seen it before?" Then take the picutre. Also I am a big fan of black and white photos over color because it's so easy to admire the color in a picture than how good it actually is IE contrast, composition, cropping, d.o.f.

Hey i noticed there are some pictures taken in Aberystwyth. You live hear or near there? I dont live to far away from there!

Nice photo's you have there. what camera do you have?

No..I live not far from their. Just went their for the day.

Edit: O...its a Canon EOS400D, owned it for less than a week, my first SLR so still getting used to it.
