Default Bios Mode

in my Bios setup, in the peripherals section , i've got a "mode" which has for option
1.output only
2.bi directional
3.EPP
4.ECP

i've got no idea what are they ?
and what should i set up for ?

It's for the printer/LPT port. Typically it really doesn't matter what settings you use. The only thing I really remember making a difference were the external zip drives.

Do you even use those ports? My printer is USB and I don't much use for the serial ports, I have disabled all of them along with the floppy channel.
