Default problem after removing hdd from dell

i had a problem with my dell laptop, my cd-rom is not working, and my hdd have broke, so i have to change my hdd. so i read if i want to install windows on my new hdd, i first have to put it in laptop that have cd-rom, so i did. i installed windows on hdd from another laptop, and i putted it back to firs laptop, now the another laptop wont work ... when i putted back it's own hdd, it wont start windows, i only get blank black window, and nothing. so what could go wrong?

if somebody have some idea, ill be glad to hear it... , if you don't understand something, ask me.

Thanks!
