Question Looking to Install and Replace RAM

Hey everyone.

I'm looking to replace and install my current 2x1GB of RAM running @ 400mhz each.

I want the cheapest RAM I can get of 1GB or 2GB running @ 800mhz and beyond.

Can anyone link me to some cheap places to get this?

Also, is RAM just "plug-'n'play"? No additional software or drivers to run on an already set-up PC?

Newegg.com is the most commonly used in the US, there is also TigerDirect.com which occasionally beats out newegg in price.

And yes, there is nothing extra that needs to be done when installing RAM... no software or anything.

www.pricewatch.com will find you the cheapest stuff... not always the best but the cheapest.

You know that if you mean DDR800 theres no such thing? (I think) Unless yuo mean your cmoputer supports DDR/DDR2 that is.

RAM is plug and play.
