Default FLASH DRIVE Memory Stick..help!

Hey everyone!

I just got a Toshiba laptop with 1GB of memory,and i dont think is enaugh.

-is the "Flash Drive (ready boost) memory stick" will help speed up my system?

if yes,how many GB's should i get?

I don't think it matters, I think that only something like 128 or 512MB can be utilized, and it's not that great of a performance boost anyway. Just get another GB... I did and I wouldn't ever go back to 1GB running vista.

ReadyBoost can use up to 4GB of flash memory to help with page filing, but it's nothing special.. I'd say upgrade your RAM if you feel the need.
I just used a 1GB Sony MS Pro Duo card to utilize ReadyBoost (940MB) and it's actually making a page to page difference (within my PC, not online).. nothing dramatic, though.
