I have 2 250GB Western Digital and 1 Seagate 250GB drive. I just added the SG and only see 250GB when I know I should see 500. Does the fact that they are of different brands make a difference? After migrating, a dialog box even came up telling me to restart so I could see the increased storage and I did to no avail.
I have an intel ICH8R southbridge and the software says the array is healthy with 3 drives and is in mode 5, I don't know where the 250GB went. Anyone need a couple HDDs? Last edited by 12340987; 08-15-2007 at 05:44 AM. |

How did you have it setup before you put the 3rd disk in? Just adding a drive wont make the storage instantly available to use, you have to partition and format it.
