your CPU has nothing to do with it. which nVidia card do you have at the moment? i see you have given us no details about your laptop, which would be useful.

but ill state again, this is not a good use of money, you will be spending £100s (or $100s) more than you would on an equivelent (or better) desktop card.

make sure you research where you can buy them from before you actually buy one!
