I think you should build it yourself. I mean its not hard at all. Secondly you get what you want for far less than alienware can offer you. Thirdly if you indeed want a laptop then why dont you just get a sprint card or better yet get T-Mobile Hotspots. I have it its. wonderful. If you use tmobile as your cell phone carier it will go on your bill. Its 3 dollars a month.

you sound like youre in the same situation i was in before i bought my laptop. i wanted the power of a desktop, but needed to be mobile for college, ect. so, i bought a 17" monster of a laptop with all the power of a desktop, but compact features of a portable laptop.
really, you have to deside what works best for you. if you need mobility, i would highly recommend a desktop replacement, like an HP dv9500, or an Alienware.

HP dv9500 here
love it Dells 1720 is a great laptop too. i wouldnt spend money on an alienware laptop. just get a nice laptop that supports the new 8600m series graphic cards. ull be more than happy and itll be a lot cheaper than getting an alienware laptop. then if u want put the rest of your money into a decent custom desktop.

If you build it yourself you can customize it to your likings. It'll also be ALOT cheaper than an Alienware laptop. As for internet, if your laptop has built in wireless (most likely it does), you can wirelessley connect to the internet. If it doesn't have built in wireless, you can either add a PC wireless card or you can use the laptop's ethernet port.

BUILD IT
REASONS 1. you get what u want 2. u learn and have fun 3. u dont over pay 4. desktops are easier to work with and to replace 5. they last longer
