Default Omfg I Think I Got messed Up By Virus

ok recently something went wrong with my machine and was being a buggy with firefox and my trillian and nothing would work. So i close firefox and try and open it but i get the error that i dont have access to the C:/ drive. I think its weird so i restart and firefox works but none of my startup programs load so i try and do them manually but then explorer laggs up and wont shutdown so i get 2 instance of it but the start menu of one of them stuck. so i restart but after i get past the Boot from CD part it stays black but then i get a symbol like "YØY"(but the Ø is a circle with line going vertically[alt+0934]) so im thinking is must be coincidence so i restart. but agian i get the same ****ing thing. So now im pretty sure this is a virus. Is there any way to fix this without have to reformat my pc.

*************************EDIT********************* ***

i just loaded the windows cd and tried to go to the repair console but it says that it cannot detect and hard drives install on my computer. HOW THE **** DO I FIX THIS

************************EDIT*********************

i jsut restarted nad did the boot console and booted formt eh HDD(it did recognize it) but now it shows 5 things ont eh screen, 2 are white squares, 1 is upsidde down trianle and an L, 1 is a Pt, 1 is a |-[and turqouise square]

hey i like your avatar, its those tiny different coloured leafs in windwaker right ?

anyhows you need to get the viruses name then download a proper removal tool for it.
Or you could remove the Hard drive and put it in an updated CPU with a decent AV like Avira,KASPERSKY, AVAST or NOD to fix it

I believe he would say SOMETHING like this....

1. Reboot your computer into SafeMode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight SafeMode then hit enter.
IMPORTANT: Do not open any other windows or programs while ewido is scanning, it may interfere with the scanning proccess:
2. Lauch ewido-anti-spyware by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.
3. Select the "Scanner" icon at the top and then the "Scan" tab then click on "Complete System Scan".
4. ewido will now begin the scanning process, be patient this may take a little time.
Once the scan is complete do the following:
5. If you have any infections you will prompted, then select "Apply all actions"
6. Next select the "Reports" icon at the top.
7. Select the "Save report as" button in the lower left hand of the screen and save it to a text file on your system (make sure to remember where you saved that file, this is important).
8. Close ewido and reboot your system back into Normal Mode and post the results of the ewido report scan.

Please disable all security programs including Avast, Spybot until they are needed.

Begin running your scans in this order.

Ewido
A-squared
Superantispyware

Run ATF-Cleaner from safe mode.Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

Reboot into normal windows, run ATF cleaner once again and then run this dianogstic scan from Kaspersky http://kaspersky.com/kos/english/kavwebscan.html
Click Accept
When the updates are finished downloading, click Next, Scan Settings
Under Scan using the following antivirus database:, select extended
Make sure the Scan Archives and Scan Mail Bases options are selected as well. Click OK
Click My Computer and wait for the scan to finish
Click Save Report As. Under Save as type:, select Text file. Save this log to your Desktop. If any infections remain, post a copy of it here along with a new 'HijackThis' log.

read it throughly to understand what you need.

it's early and I'm tired... so you won't get much help from me.
