Question what's faster - usb port/parallel port/ethernet

Which of the following connections will give me the fastest throughput from my new LaserJet 4350n:

(1) usb port
(2) parallel port
(3) ethernet

USB or Ethernet should be fine and you shouldn't see any difference. I don't think parallel port would be the best but if you had no other option it's nothing to worry about.

Printers don't use much bandwidth at all, so USB or ethernet will work fine. Parallel will also work, but isn't as easy to configure as USB.

I would recommend using USB just because you can plug it in and go, you dont need to configure IP's for the printer or selecting the port for parallel.

As far as on paper:

1. Ethernet
2. USB (USB 2.0, otherwise 1.1 can be a lot slower...)
3. in a distant 3rd, Parallel
