Default bluetooth printing

I Have a bluetooth printer adapter that I used with an olod HP 693c printer hooked by parallel ports and worked fine, i just got a new printer HP C5280 which has USB 2.0 port, but my adapter only follows USB 1.1v, is there a way to make the port on my printer follow USB 1.1v specifications ( i thought about attaching a usb 1.1 hub to the printer then pluging the bluetooth adapter into the hub, not sure if that would work) or is there a device or adapter I can use with this printer to print via bluetooth

Have you gone ahead and tried it anyway? Usually USB 2.0 can run at USB 1.1, just has to go a lot slower.

i tried it, i hooked the adapter to the printer and found the adapter on the computer from bluetooth but when i connect i get an error "detection service failed". there are 3 lights on the adapter power, printer connected, and bluetooth when i attach the adapter to the old printer via parallel all three lights are on, but on the new printer by usb only power and bluetooth are on, the light that says a printer is connected is not on (my printer is on)

Hmm..., well you can try the hub idea, but you'll have to use the power adapter for the hub to ensure that the adapter gets enough power.
