Help installing security update?

I have problems downloading the following update when I click on the update icon when it prompts me when a new update is available. However, when I try to download the security it tells me that it was unable to update the particular update.

The security update is as follows:

Security update for Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Service pack 1 (KB928366)

I can't even choose not to install it. Every time I load windows it tells me that there is a new update, but it's just the same one above that is unable to install.

Anyone know how to resolve this?
