Default Buying new System, can i use old OS disk?

I've ordered a new System as mine has been getting out of date. I ordered all the components necessary discluding a Graphics Card (have one) and the Operating System.

But.. Something has come to my attention and slightly worried me. The XP Installation disk i have is an upgrade, does this mean i cannot install it onto the new System?

Nope, however you can get a disk for about $100 from NewEgg (£50 from eBuyer) that's a fully legal full install edition.

Ok then, thankyou. Can anyone clarify for me that this is the full installation and not just an upgrade:

Yep, that just doesn't have a manual and support, which is poor anyway.
